Boiler servicing & repair
Annual services recorded properly for your warranty, fault-code diagnosis, pressure loss and lockouts.
Heat365 are Gas Safe registered plumbers and heating engineers covering Wingerworth and the S42 area. A large share of the housing here is recent, which means sealed systems, fault codes on the display and manufacturer warranties that need protecting rather than voided. Call us 24/7.
Wingerworth sits just south of Chesterfield. The old village grew up around the Wingerworth Hall estate, whose hall was demolished in 1924, but the biggest change to the place is far more recent: hundreds of new homes have been built on the remediated site of the former Avenue coking works off Mill Lane, in phases running to several hundred properties in total.
That gives the village an unusual split. On the newer estates the heating is modern and sealed — a condensing combi or system boiler, a filling loop, an expansion vessel, programmable or app-based controls, and in the larger detached houses often an unvented hot water cylinder. Those systems rarely fail dramatically. What they do instead is lock out and show a fault code, lose pressure slowly through a weeping joint or a tired expansion vessel, or develop a heating zone that stops responding. They also come with a manufacturer warranty that generally depends on an annual service being done and recorded properly.
The older village housing is a more familiar picture — larger period properties, stone and brick, systems that have been changed over the decades. We work on both, and every gas job is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Where a job falls outside what we do, we will say so plainly rather than have a go at it.

It should not. Most manufacturer warranties require an annual service carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer and properly documented — not a service by that specific manufacturer. We service to the manufacturer's schedule and leave you the record. If your particular warranty has an unusual condition, tell us the make, model and install date when you book and we'll check it with you first.
Keep the paperwork somewhere safe too. When a warranty claim is made, the thing that most often causes trouble is not the servicing itself but the absence of a record showing it was done on time and by a registered engineer.
A repeating lockout is telling you something, and resetting it over and over only hides it. The common causes on newer sealed systems are low system pressure, a blocked condensate, a flue or fan fault, or an ignition problem. Read us the code when you call — it helps us arrive with the right part more often than not.
Sometimes, but not always. Pressure loss on a sealed system commonly comes from a small leak somewhere on the pipework or a radiator valve, a failed expansion vessel, or a pressure relief valve passing. Those need different fixes, so we test rather than guess, and we'll show you what we found.
Yes. A dead zone is usually an actuator, a wiring centre or thermostat fault, or air in that loop rather than anything in the floor itself, so it is far less invasive than people fear. We'll start at the manifold and controls. If your hot water comes from an unvented cylinder, mention the make and model when you call — those must only be worked on by a suitably qualified engineer, and we'll confirm up front whether it is a job for us.
Yes — we work right across S42 and the villages south of Chesterfield, including Walton, Hasland, Grassmoor, North Wingfield, Tupton, Holymoorside and Ashover. If you're nearby and not sure, just give us a call.
